Biden, who is regarded as the most LGBTQ-friendly president in history, issued a proclamation ago designating June as Pride month. Biden noted that his administration has already taken several steps to protect LGBTQ Americans, including ending the ban on transgender troops, signing legislation that enshrined the right to same-sex marriage into federal law and strengthened civil protections for gay Americans.
