Rep. Kevin McCarthy announces he will retire from Congress

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., announced on Wednesday he won’t run for reelection and will instead retire from Congress at the end of the month. The news comes after being ousted as Speaker of the House by his fellow Republicans.
