“I don’t think it’s going to lead to more drinking for underage kids or any of the college kids. So, for me, I think it’s a loss of revenue. College football tailgates have become as synonymous with the game as blocking and tackling.
On and near campuses across the country, usually behind vehicles, millions of people each Saturday partake in activities such as cornhole and put together spreads that often include burgers, brats and beer.
“I think that difference is one thing that creates value for our institution,” he said.
